Wanna go to Italy?

Welp, we have 4 weeks and 5 days til we embark on our Italian adventure. I have been communicating with Luisa, my cousin who will be hosting us, via email (which is always in Italian). They are pretty much planning our trip and we could not be more thankful/excited! It's funny because people ask us, what are you going to do, or where all are you going to go? And me and Paul just say, "We have no idea!" But we totally trust Luisa and Onofrio and if we spent all 10 days in their home talking (aka- charades), it would be perfectly fine because I am SO excited just to see THEM!

Here's some background info on how we're related: Luisa's grandma, Julia, and my great-grandma Amalia (or Maria- I think she had two names, not sure why) were sisters. So Luisa and my mom and aunts are 2nd cousins, and I guess that would make them my 3rd cousins? Something like that. Confused yet?

Ok so Luisa has a sister named Lidia. I met Lidia once when I was maybe 10 years old-ish when she came to the U.S. to visit us. She was and still is so beautiful and kind. Her husband is Giancarlo (love that name) and her 2 daughters are Lucrezia and Beatrice (pronounced Be-uh-tree-chi.. isn't that cute!?) So when she emailed me yesterday with her new website, I knew I had to pass it along to the blogosphere.

Whew. I say all that to say- if you want to go to Italy and stay in a beautiful apartment in the heart of the rolling hills of Italy at the home of the sweetest people in the universe for 300 euros a week, check this out:

I can't wait to see it in person in a few short weeks!!! Start planning your trips now, people!
